Some ideas for
hiking trails
- The Boucle des Corniches in Bénodet: a beautiful 11.8-kilometre walk around Bénodet. From the Anse de Penfoul, you’ll follow the entire corniche to the Mer Blanche du Letty. Admire a highly varied coastline: a mudflat with its boat cemetery, the marina, the mouth of the Odet, the corniche beaches lined with small cabins, then the wild coast and the Letty lagoon. The walk returns via the Petit Moulin cove and cuts through lanes and paths to reach the starting point, the Maison du Tourisme.
- Le Drennec to Clohars-Fouesnant: this 2.6-kilometre walk starts near the Drennec chapel. After a stretch of road, you come to a pleasant sunken lane. You’ll pass a beautiful property before returning to the main road that leads back to the starting point.
- Around Cap Coz in Fouesnant: this 11-kilometre walk, starting from the Fouesnant church at the entrance to the cemetery, takes you to the tip of Cap Coz, its old port and long beach lined with pine trees and seaside villas. You’ll then follow the coastal path, planted with rhododendrons and offering magnificent panoramic views over the Bay of La Forêt. On the way back, you’ll discover a kiwi plantation in the middle of the countryside.
- Polder de Mousterlin in Fouesnant: starting from the Pointe de Mousterlin parking lot, this 9-kilometre walk takes you through the marshes and polder of Mousterlin. Interpretation panels on the fauna, flora and hydraulic systems of the locks and canals help you discover an original ecosystem. As the seasons go by, admire the changing atmosphere, both in terms of color and the flora and fauna that live there.
