Saint Thomas Becket Church, built in 1231, is a former chapel near the old port. It boasts magnificent granite architecture and is listed as a Monument Historique! Address: 18 rue de l’Église, 29950 Bénodet.

Don’t miss the Menhir de Poulquer, a Neolithic megalithic monument that still stands proudly. This heritage blends harmoniously with the village atmosphere, making every walk a history lesson in the heart of Finistère. Your tour begins at Bénodet’s old port, the heart of the town’s lively maritime atmosphere. You’ll then pass the Pont de Cornouaille, giving you a breathtaking panorama of the Odet estuary. Continue on to the Phare du Coq to admire the view before arriving at the large Trez beach. Finally, end your walk at Mer Blanche, a wild and unspoilt lagoon.
